Navajo Chiefs blanket rug 1800's style rug by Begay

Product #:  r23
Brand:  Navajo
Description:  I sent a picture of this rug to the author and it may be in the next publication. All that have seen it love it. Roselyn Begay is listed in Gregory Schaaf's new book, American Indian Textiles. She is a master weaver displaying her work at world famous Garlands Navajo rugs in Sedona, Az.[check them online] as well as ours Trading Post Southwest in Arizona. When Roselyn told me she was weaving a Chiefs rug in the style of the 1800s I could not wait to feature it in my gallery. This original and authentic piece is incredible and 100 times better than the photos you see. This 39" by 35" masterwork squares perfectly and is worth at least 1500.00 in the typical gallery. This is a perfect rug to frame and it would make a proud wall hanging. It is mint and was just completed. The Chief rug is highly sought after and are consider the ultimate gift among the Navajo tribes.
