Description:	Hopi Snake Dancer Kachina by premium Hopi carver Tom Collateta. Tom was featured on four pages in the book Kachina doll carving by Erik Bromberg. This snake dancer is rare and concidered to be a taboo carving by many Hopi. Very few will carve this. In fact the snake dancer is real not a kachina at all but a repesentaion of a dance that visiter are no longer allowed to see. So why such a great price for this 10 inch carving that is so rare and collectible. Tom wrote the description on the base but is is unsigned. We will include a COA with this item for collection reasons.
