The Telechild Co.

My name is Don and here is a little history about me. I have always worked at least three jobs and I believe in hard work, old values, and being responsible for your actions. I live in the mountains of Arizona and I have been dealing with many famous Native American artists for over six years. I was a musician at one time and I have always had a fascination with art. Lately my love of Native American art has become an obsession. I live it, sleep it and take it all in. When I see a new piece I’m like a child on Christmas morning. I am honored that these talented peoples take the time to perfect their craft for me. I have had the pleasure of owning and selling fine Hopi pottery by Lawrence Namoki, Antoinette Honie, Roberta Silas, Dorothy Ami,the Naha and Navasie families. I also have featured the amazing pottery making techniques of Navajo born Doreen Lansing and Westley Begaye. I have recently dealt with many Kachina carvers such as Duane Lacapa, Kerry David, Richard Gorman and the list goes on. In 2007 my collection became so large that I had to open a retail gallery, Trading Post Southwest in Pinetop, Arizona. Even though the store does get traffic I still ship out more to collectors than what I sell in the store. I continue working other jobs in order to stay in business. Although I work 12 hours a day most of my money goes to the artists and support of these arts. I thank all that have kept in contact with me over the years and aided me with this endeavor. And if you have bought fine art from me, I send you a special thank you. The world would not be as beautiful without the arts. The past should never be over-shadowed by the future.

Its about art.
